Hemscheidt articulation systems – including yaw articulations, pitch articulations, yaw-roll articulations, and yaw-roll-pitch articulations – deliver controlled movements across multiple degrees of freedom. They protect carbody structures against overloading and provide smooth and precise motion control.
Damping elements complement the systems by giving targeted cushioning for gangway movements, thereby significantly increasing riding comfort.
